Buddha Bowl

with Beef Skewers

Ingredients: 

  • 7 oz organic beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 1.5 oz rice noodles
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 small cucumber, sliced
  • 2 radish, sliced
  • Handful cilantro

Instructions


  1. Thread the thinly sliced steak onto bamboo or metal skewers. Grill until cooked to your liking. Set aside.

  2. Cook the rice noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain.

  3. Place the rice noodles in the bottom of a large bowl. Top with the carrot, cucumber, radish and skewers. Sprinkle with cilantro.

  4. Enjoy immediately.


Notes:


  • As you recover from your histamine flare, you can add 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds to this dish.

  • Aged beef is high in histamines so speak to your butcher and ask for fresh beef.
