Spicy Margarita Mocktail
Check out this fantastic low-sugar kombucha mocktail recipe that has become one of my favorites this season. It’s perfect for those moments when you want to enjoy a sophisticated drink without the alcohol or sugar load.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce lime juice
- salt or Tahin
- 2 limes slices
- 2 basil leaves
- 2 mint leaves
- 2 jalapeno slices
- 2 cucumber slices
Mocktail:
- Ice cubes
- Ginger Kombucha
- 1/2 cup sparkling water*
*Optional: Few dashes of orange bitters (elevates and rounds the flavors!)
Not all foods are created equal.

Instructions
- Rim your glass with lime juice and dip it in salt.
- In your glass, add the lime juice, lime slices, basil and mint leaves, jalapeno and cucumber slices. Using the end of a wooden spoon, gently muddle to release their natural flavors.
- Add ice. Top with kombucha, give it a stir and garnish with basil or mint.
Why I Love This Mocktail?
Kombucha is a fermented tea that’s rich in probiotics, which are great for gut health. And I love me a little spice in a fancy glass!
